I had just gained admission into school and dreamed of starting a food business, but pregnancy left me broken and alone. Family and friends turned away, and I fell into depression. Crying out to God, He sent help through ZoeChoosers. They gave me shelter, medical care, financial support, and hope. Now I see my baby as a blessing, and my dreams are alive again.
I’m Opeyemi, a 19-year-old teen mom from a low-income family. When I got pregnant, I faced rejection from my dad, friends, and even the baby’s father. My mom, sister, and Zoe Choosers became my pillars of support. They covered my hospital bills, provided baby essentials, and helped me start nail tech training. Today, I’m still in school, building my future, and dreaming of giving back to young moms like me.
My name is Folashayo, I’m 30 years old. Before pregnancy, I worked as an account officer and dreamed of building an independent life. When I became pregnant, I faced fear, disappointment, and judgment from my parents and community.
